New Zealand said a suspected Mossad agent being sought by police is a former Israeli diplomat. William Zev Barkan, the “third man” in a New Zealand passport-fraud ring with alleged links to Mossad, previously served in Israel’s embassies in Austria and Belgium, the Foreign Ministry in Wellington said Thursday.
