Israeli sources said Monday they could neither confirm nor deny a report that United States spy satellites have revealed that the Syrians have moved Soviet-made SAM anti-aircraft missiles into Lebanon. Israel has warned in the past that the use of SAM missiles in Lebanon by Syrian forces would be seen by Israel as a change in the status of the Syrian forces supposedly there to end the civil war.
