Operators Digging Oil in Israel Reported to Be Optimistic

Oil operators digging their first series of wells in Israel were reported today to be optimistic.

It was stated that a party working near Massada, on the Dead Sea, had struck gas pockets last week and had immediately made preparations for capping the wells in the event that oil starts to erupt behind the gas.
