Over $20,000 has already been raised by this community for the United Palestine Appeal. The Chairman, Mr. Oscar Altschuler, addressing the workers yesterday, expressed confidence that the full quota of $25,000 would be raised.
It is expected that the entire Jewish population of Youngstown will be solicited. Mr. Altschuler is assisted by the following members who comprise the Youngstown Campaign Committee: David Fish, Vice-Chairman; J. Klivans, Chairman Initial Gift Banquet; Mrs. I. Kamenetzky, Executive Secretary; Isidore Kadis, Campaign Director.
