As already reported, the Petach Tikva strike, which has lasted for several months and was conducted with much bitterness, ended May 5. The building contractors have accepted the following four points: an eight-hour working day; daily wages— 6 shillings for an unskilled worker, and 7 shillings for a skilled worker; accident insurance and payment to the workers’ sick Fund. All were agreed to by the building contractors. The other six points in the dispute (including the demand to engage workers only through the Histadru## Labor Employment Bureau) were referred to an arbiter. The ten Revisionist workers, who were employed by the contractors, will continue their work, according to the agreement.
