High Commissioner Sir Alan Cunningham today threatened the imposition of more drastic curbs if extremist actions recur, at a meeting with Goldie Meirson, Jewish Agency political leader, it was learned.
Members of the Agency are considering holding the forthcoming Zionist Actions Committee meeting in Jerusalem rather than Zurich, because of the local situation. The decision is up to Agency leaders abroad, but Mrs. Meirson will not be able to leave Palestine under any circumstances and David Ben Gurion may also be left behind.
