Palestinian factional fighting flared up anew. Palestinian gunmen killed two leading Fatah militiamen in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, sparking a revenge raid in which two Hamas men died. A senior Hamas official was also kidnapped, presumably by Fatah loyalists. Last week, the rival factions sent their gunmen together into the streets in a move billed as bringing new security to Gaza.
