Preparations are under way for a united anti-Nazi conference to be held June 29, it was announced yesterday. The conference is being sponsored by a group including Waldo Frank, Rev. John Haynes Holmes, James Waterman Wise, Arthur Garfield Hays, Prof. Robert Morss Lovett and various anti-Nazi organizations.
All organizations are asked to elect delegates to the conference, which is expected to be international in character. Among the speakers will be Johann Fleischer, described as a prominent refugee from Germany, who will disclose the latest data on the economic conditions in the Reich and the latest torture methods of the Nazis.
