The National Restoration Movement, which publishes a major anti-Semitic weekly. Aspects de France, announced plans today to renovate the notorious pre-war periodical, Action Francaise, which was noted for its anti-Semitism.
To mark the renovation of the periodical, the movement said it would call a mass meeting Thursday, which it said would be “the most important meeting we have organized since the end of the war.”
Xavier Vallat, Commissioner for Jewish Questions under the Vichy regime and editor of “Aspects de France,” will be one of the principal speakers. The Movement Against Racism and Anti-Semitism has called on French authorities to prevent Vallat from speaking.
