Police Commissioner Schwartz of Sfax, a non-Jew, was awarded the high Tunisian order of Ishtar Niftikar, it was learned here yesterday.
The award is in recognition of Commissioner Schwartz’s activity in suppressing the riots in Sfax on July 25th.
