Police this week arrested an Israeli airplane passenger who refused to turn off his cell phone during a flight from Eilat to Tel Aviv. The cabin crew alerted police after the passenger refused to heed their instructions to turn off the phone because it could interfere with the plane’s electronic system and endanger passenger safety.
