The new premises of the Polish National Bank were opened here in the presence of a large assembly, including most of the members of the Consular Corps of this town and Jaffa and many business representatives and bankers.

Dr. Hausner, the Polish Consul, addressed the gathering and reiterated Poland’s interest in the upbuilding of the Jewish National Home in Palestine. Mr. Farbstein, on behalf of the Jewish Agency, welcomed the opening of the bank.
