The official Polish Telegraphic Agency reported today that the Polish Government is using every possible means to prevent racial or religious discrimination in that country.

The New York World-Telegram published the statement underneath a J.T.A. account from Warsaw of anti-Semitic excesses in which seventeen Jews were injured, among them eleven who were hurled from a speeding train.

The report included Premier Koscialkowski’s statement to the Sejm attacking “destructive elements” and branding perpetrators of anti-Jewish disturbances as irresponsible persons. Minister of Interior Raczkiewicz was quoted: “All excesses have been and will be dealt with in the severest possible manner.”
