President Clinton and Jordan’s King Hussein discussed the Middle East peace process and the situation in Iraq during a meeting at the White House. Hussein visited Washington on his way home after six months of cancer treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Doctors pronounced him in good health when he was discharged from the clinic last week.
