Democratic officials tried to play down the “accidental encounter” and vehemently denied minister Robert Mohammed’s claims that Clinton said during the brief encounter that he has a good relationship with the Nation of Islam. The minister was invited to the meeting by U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas).
