President Ford has commended the United Synagogue Youth group of the Ohr Kodesh Congregation for planting a Bicentennial tree on the synagogue grounds in Chevy Chase, Maryland as part of its Bicentennial tree planting program. Ford said in a telegram that “Efforts such as yours are helping to make our great national celebration a memorable and meaningful one for all.”
