Prospective Dominican Settleers Will Aid Republic, Rosenberg States

James N. Roseberg, president of the Dominican Republic Settlement Corporation, told a group of intellectual leaders at the ancient University of Thomas Aquinas that refugees who would aid the Republic’s developments would be chosen as settlers under the recently-signed colonization contract, it was disclosed here today by George L. Warren, executive secretary of the President’s Advisory Committee on Political Refugees. He spoke on the eve of sailing for New York on the S.S. Borinquen.
