A banquet in honor of Rabbi Rephael Hirsh Gold on the occasion of his receiving the degree of doctor of medicine from Baylor University was given here yesterday by Congregation Shearith Israel and the Dallas Jewish community.
Rabbi Gold has held rabbinical posts in Memphis, New Orleans and Boston and has received degrees from Columbia, Tulane and Harvard Universities.
