A large crowd, including delegations of Jews from other countries, attended the funeral of Rabbi Joseph Rosen, known as the “sage of Rogachev,” in Dwinsk yesterday. Rabbi Rosen, world-famed Talmudic authority, died in Vienna last Thursday at the age of eighty.
