Rabbis and other religious leaders are joining with scientists, educators, economists and others to create a working forum for addressing world-wide environmental issues. The new group, announced at the United Nations, is developing out of the Harvard University Project on Religion and Ecology, and will likely be based there. Leaders from the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life, the Jewish Theological Seminary and Touro College are involved in the project.
