Although the Commonwealth defense forces are restricted to British subjects and those who have been naturalized at least five years, the Ministry of Defense was understood to be considering the possibility of waiving the restrictions through exercise of special powers. Meanwhile, the authorities are already availing themselves of offers of service by highly qualified electrical, mechanical and military technicians.
