Representatives of the Israeli government and Jewish organizations will see how to make Holocaust reparation more efficient. In a June 30 letter to Edgar Bronfman, president of the World Jewish Restitution Organization, Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was backing a plan to establish a blue-ribbon panel that would “examine how to increase efficiency, transparency, relevance and coordination in restitution efforts.”
