Representatives of various international bodies, members of the Consular Corps and leaders of the Canadian Jewish community were among the more than 700 persons who attended a reception at the Israeli Consulate General marking the 13th anniversary of the founding of the State. Israeli Consul General P. Eliav addressed the guests. Extensive space in the local press was devoted to the anniversary.
