Marjorie Merlin Cohen, executive director of the National Council of Jewish Women, stated today that the presence of Olya Margolin, a staff member of NCJW, at the meeting in Washington with representatives of the Palestine Liberation Organization “in no way represented Council’s policy” and “we dissociate ourselves completely from her action.” Ms. Margolin was one of five Jews present at that meeting.
