The breaking of 35 tombstones and the painting of swastikas on many others in the Ahavath Chesed Synagogue’s cemetery in Waterford on Tuesday night led combined Jewish societies today to offer a $200 rewarded for apprehension and conviction of the vandals. In the raid on the cemetery, American flags were torn from the mounds of Jewish legionnaires.
