Lieutenant-Governor Herbert H. Lehman will receive the support of Rockland County Democrats in his candidacy for the governship of New York, he was informed here yesterday at a dinner in his honor which marked the conclusion of the first day of his tour of state institutions.
Colonel Lehman is making the tour of state institutions in behalf of Governor Roosevelt, who this year, abandoned his usual tour in order to permit Colonel Lehman to make a bid for up-state support, it is said.
