Rome’s mayor accompanied 200 Italian high school students on a visit to the site of the Auschwitz death camp. The group, from several public high schools, was guided at the site in Poland by a leading Italian Holocaust scholar and was accompanied by several Italian survivors and Rome’s chief rabbi.
