Room in Israel Military Hospital Dedicated to Truman’s Mother; Weizmann at Ceremony

Israel President Weizmann and American Ambassador John G. McDonald participated in the dedication of two recreation rooms at the Tel Litwinsky military hospital, near here. Constructed with funds donated by the B’nai B’rith, the two rooms were dedicated to the late mother of President Truman and to Eddie Jacobson, former business partner of the President.

Henry Morgenthau, Jr., general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal who is currently visiting Israel, toured Israel coastal installations at Eylat, on the Gulf of Aqaba, and other points in the southern Negev. He was accompanied by Col. Moshe Dayan, former commander of Israel forces in the Jerusalem area.
