The Weizmann Institute announced today it had received a gift of 270, 000 pounds sterling ($750, 000) from the Edmond James de Rothschild Memorial Group of London for additional animal breeding houses at the Institute. The same donor group made a gift of $890, 000 in 1960 for the establishment of two experimental animal houses.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
