Rumanian Government Lauds J.D.C. Relief in Broadcast over Bucharest Radio

The Rumanian Government, in a broadcast over the Bucharest radio station today, expressed thanks to the Joint Distribution Committee, the Swiss Red Cross and Russia for relief supplies sent here.

The broadcast lauded the J.D.C. for including insecticide in its relief shipments. It revealed that 2,600 kilograms of insecticide sent by transport plane from the United States reached Rumania within ten days after the plane left American soil.
