Sanford Solender, for the last 12 years director of the National Jewish Welfare Board’s community center division, today was elected executive vice-president of the JWB. according to an announcement by national president Solomon Litt. Mr. Solender succeeds to the post left vacant by the recent death of Samuel D. Gershovitz.
