Rabbi Edward L. Israel of Baltimore was reelected president of the Seaboard Zionist Region which is holding its eleventh annual conference here at the Hotel Monticello.

Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, delivered the principal address at the opening sessions of the assembly yesterday. A quota of $53,000 for the Keren Hayesod, was adopted and important resolutions dealing with national and international Zionist problems were considered.

A meeting protesting Nazi persecution of the Jews in Germany was held last night. Sessions of the conference will continue through today. The Hadassah and Junior Hadassah are holding their conventions simultaneously with the annual Zionist assembly.
