Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) quoted Pirke Avot as she criticized President Bush’s proposed tax cut, which she said would draw money away from education and health care. “We must never borrow without paying back,” Clinton said at a meeting of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington.
