Senior Labor Party officials denied Israeli media reports of a possible challenge to Ehud Barak for the party leadership if he fails to conclude a peace agreement with the Palestinians. Reports said Knesset Speaker Avraham Burg and Cabinet minister Shlomo Ben-Ami were thinking of challenging Barak.
