Sentenced for Holding Communist Meeting

Sentences were imposed on 17 workers, including 8 women, who were recently arrested on the charge of holding an illegal meeting. Fourteen of the workers were sentenced to 15 days imprisonment or fines of £3. One was sentenced to 30 days or £6; two girls were acquitted.
