Several hundred persons from all parts of New England attended the third annual conference of New England Congregations, Sisterhoods and Brotherhoods at Temple Beth-El, under the auspices of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, Northeast Religious Union.
It was the first time that a convention has been held in Providence by Liberal Judaism.
