Sharett Addresses So. African Jewry on Oblications to Israel

Every Jew’s “top priority” duty is to help the rebuilding of Israel, Moshe Sharett, former Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, told a capacity audience attending a rally tonight at Zion Hall.

“This is a roll call issued to world Jewry, ” Mr. Sharett declared. He returned here from Cape Town where, last night, he helped launch the local phase of the United Israel Appeal. Tonight, he will leave for Elizabeth and Durban to address similar meeting.

A new training farm for South African Jewish youth planning to emigrate to Israel to Join pioneering kibbutzim was opened today by the Zionist Federation of South Africa, The training farm, with 16 students enrolled in the opening class, is located 30 miles from this city.
