A donation of $3,000 toward the library of the Bronx Young Men’s Hebrew Association by Benjamin and Ira Sobol was announced at the last meeting of the Board of Directors of the Y.M.H.A. A resolution was passed at the meeting of the Board to call the library of the Association “The Sobol Library.”
Ira Sobol has long been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bronx Y.M.H.A. and has been very active in promoting the cultural activities of young people. Benjamin Sobol was recently elected to the Board and joined with his brother in making this gift to the library.
