Apparently undisturbed by the reports that the Department of Justice has ordered an investigation into its dangerous un-patriotic propaganda, Social Justice, mouthpiece of Father Coughlin? today published inciting anti-Jewish articles threatening the Jews of America with pogroms.
Alleging that “Jews plot to ban Social Justice,” the anti-Semitic organ writes that it could discontinue publication of its own violation seizing this opportunity to blame the Jews for its liquidation. “Were we to succumb to such a satanic temptation, the pogroms which crimsoned the scil of Europe would rank as a poor second to what would occur on the streets of New York,” the mouthpiece of the Detroit priest says.
Another inciting article covering the entire back cover-page of the magazine, under the title “And They killed Christ,” exploits the death of Jesus in an attempt to impress its readers with the idea that Jews have been murderers ever since the time of Christ.
