A reproduction of King Solomon’s Temple, which was to have been erected here for the Sesqui-Centennial Exposition, that will mark the 150th anniversary of American independence, will not be built, the directors of the Exposition have announced.

Although elaborate plans had been made for erecting a temple that would conform in every detail to the requirements of the original Temple as described in the Bible, the directors of the Exposition feel that the project would be too great for the time at hand. The Exposition will open this summer.
