Some 80 Ethiopian activists who worked with Mossad agents during the secret operations to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel during the 1980s are expected to receive approximately $7,500 apiece, according to Ha’aretz. The decision to pay them was made by outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
