Special appeals for the emergency campaign for Jewish children being conducted by the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York will be made in 550 synagogues in the metropolitan area during the High Holy Days. The campaign is designed to speed medical care, relief and rehabilitation for children in the danger areas of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East and to enable their resettlement in Israel and elsewhere.
