Nathan Friedman-Yellin, Sternist leader standing trial on charges of directing terrorist activities, today protested against the conditions of his “arbitrary” detention in which he claimed he was not allowed to contact his attorney during the past seven weeks. The court ordered that copies of letters which Friedman-Yellin said had been prevented by the detention camp’s commander from reaching the Israeli State Council be turned over to the Council’s members.
