A mass meeting of the Joint Council of Drivers and Sweepers of the Sanitation Department will be held next Wednesday evening at the Manhattan Lyceum, it was announced yesterday.
Louis Waldman, attorney for the union, and Joseph Ryan, president of the Central Labor Council, will address the meeting.
Over 2,000 Jewish workers of the Sanitation Department are members of the organization.
