Strictest Measures to Be Invoked to Insure Order at University of Vienna

The strictest measures will be invoked by the university authorities to ensure the maintenance of peace at the University of Vienna, it was announced yesterday in connection with the beginning of the new semester next Tuesday.

Responsibility for the maintenance of order will be transferred to a Student’s League to be created, which will enjoy the confidence of the Rector.

Party uniforms, party emblems and the carrying of arms will be prohibited, including life preservers. Penalty for an infringement of this regulation will be expulsion, it is stated.
