Workers in the Allied Jewish Campaign, meeting at the Hotel Statler, announced the subscription of $63,162 towards the $175,000 quota on the first day of the drive.
The sum raised to date is thirty-six per cent of the assigned quota for local institutions and for German Jewish relief.
