A surplus of doctors in Israel by 1970 was foreseen in a survey published here today. The survey found that currently Israel has one doctor for 436 residents which is double the proportion in Europe and North America.
The survey criticized the distribution of physicians in Israel, asserting that there are three times as many doctors in towns and cities as in villages.
