A new feature in the Syrian rebellion against the French Administration in Syria is the appearance of Syrian women’s battalions in the insurgents’ ranks.

Two battalions of Arab women, which were recruited in Syria, are now undergoing military training. Units of these battalions participated in the last battle at Midan, near Damascus.

The Syrian rebels continue to recruit among the Syrian women for the purpose of inspiring the population in their fight against the French.
