Premier Georg Tatarescu is negotiating with the Iron Guard for inclusion of the suppressed anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi terrorist organization in the Front of National Rebirth, it was disclosed today. The possibility of including an Iron Guardist in the Cabinet was also being considered.
A communique issued by the presidency of the Council of Ministers stated: “M. Tatarescu received a delegation of former members of the Legionary Movement (Iron Guard) adhering by written declaration to the new political order of the country, following the Government’s action for removal of political tension and for internal pacification.”
