Grave charges against the former administration of Tel Aviv were formulated in a resolution adopted last night by the Tel Aviv City Council in which labor delegates hold a dominant position.
The resolution charged former Mayor Dizengoff, Tverski, the city land commissioner, and M. Smielansky, chief municipal comptroller, with responsibility for the great losses incurred by the municipality because of land purchases in 1925 and 1926. The City Council’s resolution calls on the former city government members to cover the losses sustained.
